MASA

MASA started from a simple desire: to draw in volume with the same immediacy as opening a sketchbook. Conceived as a mobile-first tool, I wanted it to be something I could access anywhere and start using immediately, drawing directly with a finger, trackpad or mouse, without setup, tutorials or a production workflow getting in the way. I designed and built MASA as an experiment in what that kind of 3D tool could feel like: simple enough to open, draw and leave, but capable enough to turn a quick gesture into a form that can be exported and developed further. MASA embraces irregularity, accidents and the traces left by the hand rather than trying to remove them. Even its identity came from the tool itself: the MASA logo was drawn inside MASA, turning its imperfect volumetric stroke into its own visual language.
